(NYSE: CALX) today announced Great Lakes Energy Cooperative (GLE) has partnered with the Calix Services team to plan, deploy, and manage its network transformation. GLE has selected the Calix Vantage Support Service to accelerate its Truestream fiber network initiative that will bring advanced services, including gigabit internet, voice, and managed whole home Wi-Fi to its members in northern Michigan. The fiber network will expand over the next 8-10 years across GLE’s 26 county service area in western lower Michigan. By partnering with Calix, GLE expects to reduce its time to deploy new services and reduce deployment risk by leveraging the expertise and experience developed by the Calix team through hundreds of engagements with service providers.
